‘ZIMBABWE’S LOST CHILDREN’ UK FUNDRAISER
I caught up with Char Mukuzvazva,the event organizer and this is what she had to say in response to my enquiring why she had organized this event:
“i decided to raise funds after watching ZFC on BBC 4, I asked myself what I was doing to make a difference as a young Zimbabwean. I then decided to at least try organise an event to try raise funds for the zfc.I got in touch with the 2 charities, Zimbabwe Benefit Foundation and True Vision Foundation who told me about the education they had going for these children.
I have been planning the show since May 2011, its been a challenge but a worthwhile one so far.
This is the first fundraising event I have organised and am working closely with charities for now and then I shall take it from there.”If you cannnot attend the event and would like to donate or have other questions,please contact Char @ 0750 343 9989 and remember donations are accepted from any1,you dont have to be in the Uk to donate.Thank you.
