A KENYAN MOTHER’S PRIDE…
Every mother wishes and wants the best moments and bright futures for their children and for Mildred Wanyama,God answered her prayers.Mildred is mother to Macdonald ,Victor and Mercy ,all who are making headlines in the world of sports.
Mildred Wanyama thanks God Almighty for listening to her prayers and she says”l have no one to thank but God above.This is a big favour from God and l thank him on my family’s behalf.lt has been a long road to where they (her children) are now but the most important thing is that they are now reaping from their hard work and respect for God and self discipline”.
Her son Macdonald(above),was the 1st Kenyan to play and win the UEFA champions league trophy with ltalian’s lnter Milan.Her son,Victor,(pictured below) is now making headlines in Europe for being the 1st Kenyan to join a top club in Scotland-CELTIC.
And now her daughter Mercy,18 years old,has been awarded a 4 year scholarship to play basketball while following a degree program at California Baptist University.Mercy along with Purity Odhiambo,another Kenyan who also received a scholarship, will be the 1st Kenyans to play in USA’s prestigious ‘National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) League.
As if that is not enough,her other son Thomas plays for Sofapaka in Kenya and she says he has now reached lnternational status and ready for Europe and that she is praying a club will pick him soon.
l plan to follow the Wanyamas ,so be warned yall,this wont be the last you will hear of this BLESSED family:))
