WORLD BANK:RWANDA #1 COUNTRY TO START BUSINESS IN AFRICA
The World Bank’s in what is a report (Annual Doing Business Report) ranking countries according to the ease of doing business (sub category starting a business) has ranked Rwanda in the top ten in the world and number 1 in Africa. International Finance organisations such as the IMF and Financial Instituitions such as the Standard Chatered Bank have all lauded Africa’s growth prospects all be it with some caveats.

This is a remarkable turnaround given Rwanda has faced a monumental task in recovering from one of Africa’s worst civil wars, which claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands. The ranking is based on “the ease of starting a business, factoring minimum cost, time, and available capital”.
