GLOBAL SOAP PROJECT
A few weeks ago on Cnn,l watched the story about Derrick Kayongo,a native of Uganda who now lives in the USA.Derrick founded the Global Soap Project after doing research and finding out that from the 4.6 million hotel rooms in the USA,at least 2.6 million partially used bars of soap are discarded.That is when Derrick decided to start collecting this type of soap and have it recycled and then sent off to needy communities in Africa who would otherwise never have access to soap.
